SAIC-GM-Wuling  joint venture launched the full electric Baojun YEP Plus crossover in February 2024. This is the five-door version, which carries on the square box design language of the original which blends classic hardcore off-road looks with urban cornered design. The design claims to create the golden ratio with regard to dimensions.  It measure in at 3996, 1760 and 1726mm (l/w/h), and the wheelbase is 2560mm which still keeps the car at just under 4 meters. 

Powering the Yep Plus is a 75 kW electric motor on the rear axle. The 41.9kWh battery capacity  gives a CLTC range of 401 km.
